Our clients, Mr and Mrs M in Harrogate required their damp, dark unusable cellar to be converted into two bedrooms and an en-suite bathroom. Pure Basement Systems designed and prepared a full specification for the basement conversion in Harrogate to create additional habitable living space in their property. Pure Basement Systems designed the outline project and carried out the full basement conversion. The basement conversion consisted of the installation of a full Cavity Drainage Membrane (basement waterproofing) system with integral twin automatic pumps to control groundwater, insulated walls & floors, and a full dry-lining solution. Central heating and humidity controlled ventilation were installed to provide a suitable domestic living environment. High quality joinery work was carried out to conceal utility metres, restore the staircase and hardwood doors were fitted throughout.
The completed basement project offered fantastic additional space for our client which they now use as two superb basement bedrooms, one with a luxury en-suite. This added both space and value to their property.
