Our clients, Mr and Mrs A in Harrogate, required their damp, dark, unusable cellar to be converted into additional living space that they proposed to use as a home office and utility room. Pure Basement Systems designed and prepared a full specification for this bespoke basement conversion in Harrogate to create additional, habitable space. Pure Basement Systems designed the outline project and carried out both the basement waterproofing (tanking, sump pump installation) and the full basement conversion. The basement conversion consisted of the installation of a full Cavity Drainage Membrane (basement waterproofing) system with integral twin automatic pumps to control groundwater, insulated walls/floors, and a full dry-lining solution. Central heating and humidity controlled ventilation were installed to provide a suitable domestic living environment.
The completed basement project offered fantastic additional space for our client which they now use as a superb basement home office and utility room.
