Our client wanted to convert the damp basement in her traditional through terrace into a light, dry and warm basement kitchen to add space and value to her property.
Our CSSW (Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing) specialist surveyor specified a cavity drainage waterproofing system with twin sump pumps to protect the basement from flooding.
Pure Basement Systems designed and installed the bespoke basement waterproofing system, which consisted of twin sump pumps, perimeter drainage channels and sealed wall and floor cavity membrane. We also fitted a new staircase and fully insulated the walls, floors and ceilings with high efficiency insulation. As part of the conversion we fully rewired the basement and installed a fully fitted kitchen, complete with bespoke joinery.
