Commissioned to create a home gym and T.V room
The Brief:
Mr Mander commissioned Pure Basement Systems to both design and install a suitably robust bespoke basement waterproofing system and carry out the necessary building works required to convert the flooded basement at his large Victorian stone faced semi-detached property in Leeds, West Yorkshire to facilitate a new TV Room and Home Gym
The Result:
Working in partnership with Mr Mander and our partner architect, Pure Basement Systems undertook some structural alterations to the property to provide the best use of the space at basement level for the new rooms. We specified a high performance structural waterproofing package to combat the water ingress and solve the damp issue which comprised of a twin sump pump station, perimeter drainage channels and sealed wall and floor cavity drainage membrane. High quality insulation was then installed to compliment the waterproofing system. Full plastering and bespoke joinery completed the project to both create the additional living space and add value to our client’s property.
